Getting to know Dr. Robert Sevenich
Robert Sevenich is a Board-certified Psychiatry and Neurology Physician with 25+ years of experience. He completed his residency at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities and graduated from the University of Minnesota School of Medicine. Dr. Sevenich is board certified in Psychiatry and Neurology and was Medical Director for HealthEast Behavioral Health system for over 15 years. He was also Medical Director for Brain injury Services at Bethesda Hospital and clinics in St. Paul, MN for more than 20 years. He enjoys golfing and spending time with his family.
What should a new client know about working with you?
I have been practicing psychiatry for more than 20 years in the Twin Cities. I've been Medical Director for both inpatient and outpatient services for the majority of that time and believe there is a better, more efficient, patient centered approach that allows better access and communication for patients. I have partnered with providers that own their own practice and are attentive to their patients in order to deliver high-quality, individualized care. We have created a delivery system that is more efficient and user-friendly for the patient.
What is your typical process for working with clients?
First and foremost, to listen to the patient and partner with them in order to provide excellent, attentive mental health support to address symptoms which may be compromising their ability to function at their highest level at work, school and in their relationships.

For in-network services, we will submit claims on your behalf as a courtesy, but there is no guarantee that your insurance will pay. You are responsible for full payment, whether your insurance company ends up paying partially, or not at all, for services rendered.
- No shows for initial intake will be charged $75
- If you need to reschedule, please reschedule at least 48 hours before appointment time. If you do not notify us more than 48 hours prior to the scheduled appointment of the cancellation, you will be charged a no-show fee as described above.
- Any testimony in court, at depositions, administrative hearings, board reviews, and all time required for preparation and travel, whether requested by you or ordered by a court, board, government agency or other legal authority will be charged separately and the cost can be negotiated prior to the meetings
You are financially responsible for all charges, whether or not:
- Insurance pays for any services
- We decide to proceed with treatment
- Treatment is successful, for which there cannot be any guarantee

I have been seeing Dr. Sevenich for 6 months. He is very knowledgeable, experienced, kind and caring. He listens and genuinely works with me to provide the best care possible. It’s been a joy working with him.
I recently started working with Maria Horne who is the APRN/CNP at HouseCallMN. Maria has been amazing to work with as well. Maria is bright, talented and works hard to find a plan that best suits the patient’s needs.
In this day and age, it is often difficult to find psychiatric care without having to wait for months to get an appointment. The virtual behavioral healthcare system that HouseCallMN uses makes their services easily accessible, convenient. Most importantly, Dr. Sevenich and Maria Horne provide high quality medical care.
