Dr. Sunshine ordered needed tests which put our minds at ease, especially that he called with the results as promised as soon as he got them. This was a pleasant experience. It is a well kept, busy medical building, staff was very busy. We were called promptly with a very short W8 while we filled out the new patient forms. I would definitely recommend Dr. Sunshine.”

But in my case I need a surgery and he doesn’t do it no more it was written online but I didn’t notice that.
Even when I went home I want to ask him two questions, so I called his office and it was easy to talk to him on the phone.

About Dr. Robert Sunshine
Dr. Robert D. Sunshine is a graduate of New York University and the University of Monterrey, Institute of Health Science, School of Medicine. He completed his internship and first year of Residency in General Surgery at Long Island Jewish Medical Center followed by four years of Urologic Surgery Residency at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York City.
He has been in practice since 1985, and certified by the American Board of Urology since 1987. In 1994, he was appointed a Clinical Instructor in Urology at the Weil Cornell Medical College.
Dr Sunshine has served as the Director of Surgery and Chief of the Section of Urology at St. Joseph Hospital on Long Island.
He received a gubernatorial appointment with the New York State Department of Health, Office of Professional Medical Conduct, in 2005, a position he held for approximately 10 years. He has also been a medical-legal consultant and analyst, for a major personal injury and medical malpractice law firm on Wall Street, N.Y.
Dr. Sunshine is a member of numerous professional medical societies, among them: The American Urological Association, the American College of Surgeons, The American Medical Association and the Medical Society of the State of New York.
Dr. Sunshine has been included in the Castle Connolly Guide to "The Best Doctors in the New York Metropolitan Area" as well as New York Magazine's "The Best Doctors in New York".
Dr. Sunshine currently sees patients on Tuesdays at the Borough Park office of ParCare Community Health Network's multi-specialty clinic.
He engages in the practice of "Office Urology" only and no longer performs surgical or invasive urological procedures.
