Robert Terrelonge is the owner and CEO of Carbon Minds Mental Health and Wellness. He is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a wealth of knowledge and experience in the field of psychiatry. Mr. Terrelonge earned his Master’s in Nursing from Hunter College, City University of New York. He specializes in psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and psychotherapy, working with adolescents, adults, and families. Mr. Terrelonge offers a treatment approach that is comprehensive, holistic, and patient-focused. Beyond providing therapy and assistance with medication, Carbon Minds aims to help you achieve overall wellness through an integrated approach, which may include meditation, nutrition, exercise, and behavioral changes.
What should a new client know about working with you?
As a Nurse Practitioner, Mr. Terrelonge sees patients independently and offers many of the same services as a medical doctor, yet combines both medical and nursing perspectives. He currently serves Patients in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, and Long Island and uses both office visits and tele-psychiatry to provide easy, affordable and convenient psychotherapy and psychopharmacology. Mr. Terrelonge believes strongly in empowering his clients to take an active role in their physical and mental health, with a focus on a client's strengths and innate capacity to heal.

From the beginning of the visit I felt welcomed and comfortable. Dr. Terrelonge is very attentive, patient and a great listener. Dr. Terrelonge is very knowledgeable and great at explaining things that I may have a better understanding. I never feel rushed or dismissed.
Our appointments are always on time which is very important to me. I would highly recommend this practitioner.
