“I've had upper back/shoulder pain since 2020, when I ended up working on my laptop while sitting on my couch (I'm a kindergarten teacher; no one ever taught me how to work sixteen hour days on a computer). I've managed it with acupuncture, regular visits to my chiropractor, and massage therapy, but it's never gone away. Dr. Mancuso gave me a nerve test that pointed at a herniated disc pressing on a nerve, and sent me for an MRI right away. Bingo! He offered medication for the immediate inflammation and gave me a referral for physical therapy. It's made a huge difference, and it was such a relief to discover what was going on and why I'd only found limited relief in the past. He explains things clearly, offers a choice of treatments, and has office hours that include times that's aren't during the school day. I'm super appreciative.”

“I can’t say enough great things about Dr. Robert Mancuso.
I came in with a pretty scary situation—numbness down my leg and severe back pain / was so intense I couldn’t sleep because I couldn’t find a comfortable position. From the first visit, he took everything seriously and acted quickly. He prescribed the right medication and ordered an MRI, thankfully medication helped manage the pain while I waited for results.
When results came in, he didn’t rush. He walked me through MRI step by step, showed exactly what was going on both on screen and in the report, and answered every question I had. We decided together on a spinal injection to reduce inflammation, and he explained the entire process clearly, which made me feel completely at ease.
In a world that feels rushed, his bedside manner truly stands out. He listens, explains, and genuinely cares.
I’m incredibly grateful—thank you, Doc. And seriously, if you ever want to take the Porsche for a spin, it’s yours ?? Highly recommend.”

About Dr. Roberto F. Mancuso
Dr. Robert Mancuso is an Interventional Spine & Pain Management Specialist.

Dr. Robert Mancuso specializes in the treatment of spine conditions that cause neck and back pain. He is Board Certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Fellowship trained in Interventional Spine & Pain Medicine, and has received additional training in Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery.
He focuses on providing comprehensive spine care using a minimally invasive and non-operative approach to the treatment of neck and low back pain. He uses fluoroscopic and ultrasound-guided techniques to treat a wide array of conditions. Dr. Mancuso takes great efforts to minimize the use of controlled substances and therefore limits the use of chronic opioid medications.
He received his Doctor of Medicine degree from St. George's University School of Medicine and holds a Master's in Public Health from St. George's University. He completed his internship in Internal Medicine and residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at State University of New York, Downstate Medical Center, where he served as chief resident during his final year. He went on to complete a sub-specialty fellowship in Interventional Spine and Pain Medicine at the Center for Advanced Pain Management and Rehabilitation affiliated with Rutgers University in New Jersey.
