I’m a psychologist who works only with Spanish-speaking clients. I have a doctorate degree in clinical psychology from Albizu University, an entity accredited by the American Psychological Association (APA); my degree was approved by the Autonomous University of Madrid, Spain. I currently have a Florida psychologist's license. In addition, I am certified as a Professional Coach and I have ACC credentials from the International Coaching Federation, the largest coach entity in the world. I have around 20 years of professional work experience working in different clinical and cultural settings. I work with young people, adults and older adults in the modality of individual therapy, couples therapy, family and group therapy. I have a natural and empathic approach to therapy that focuses on individual strengths and building a strong therapeutic relationship. Using the strength of the therapeutic relationship and my clinical skills, I work with clients to develop strategies that help with decreased emotional symptoms.

My style of therapy is warm and interactive. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and I don't believe in stigmatizing labels. I will tailor our discussion and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. I work with my clients to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment. Taking the first step towards a fuller and happier life takes courage. I am here to support you in that process.
