Getting to know Rochell Sharpe
I empower women by example, helping them become their most self-aware, authentic selves. I help them to work on creating a safe and secure life with concerns related to anxiety, depression, and/or self-care, mood swings and interpersonal relationships. I focus on helping clients develop assertive communication & boundaries with themselves and those around them that can help improve their quality of life. Hello, I have been in nursing for 35 years. I have been a psychiatric nurse practitioner for 9 years. I am perinatal mental health certified to care for prenatal and post-natal pregnancy cares, in women's health. I also care for veterans and the geriatric population to help with depression, PTSD, anger, bipolar disorders and other severe mental illness. I see patients for one hour initially for evaluation and then for half hour visits for medication management. I assess for effect of meds, side effects, risks as well as education about improving lifestyle and collaboration in cares. I promote better health in a bio psychosocial approach to health as recognizing that the whole person needs care, not just the mind, for improved general health. I love this type of work and enjoy meeting new people in all aspects of their life. I look forward to meeting people from all aspects of the tree of life.

More information on payments and coverage
Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
