Getting to know Rochelle Butler

I am passionate about building a compassionate and personalized connection with every patient I work with. I believe that mental health care should be collaborative, respectful, and tailored to your unique needs and goals. My role is not only to prescribe or manage medications but also to walk alongside you as we explore the full range of therapeutic options available. Together, we’ll find the most effective path forward—whether that includes medication, therapy, or lifestyle adjustments. I strive to create a safe and welcoming environment where you feel comfortable sharing openly. My priority is to minimize medication use whenever possible while still effectively addressing symptoms and supporting your overall well-being. I see my role as helping you feel both understood and empowered, guiding you toward solutions that fit your life and values. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, exploring the outdoors, and staying active. I believe balance in life is essential, and I try to carry that perspective into the care I provide for my patients. I am accepting new patients for ongoing medication management support. I do not provide therapy. The provider is currently practicing under the supervision of Dr. Brian Boyle - MD who is a specialist in Psychiatry

What should a new client know about working with you?

I earned my Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences from Marquette University and went on to complete my Master of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies at Midwestern University. My training gave me a strong foundation in both the medical and human sides of care, and I bring that balance into every patient encounter. Patients often tell me they appreciate my approachable style and the time I take to explain treatment options in a way that feels clear and collaborative. I know that seeking mental health care can feel overwhelming, and I want you to feel safe, heard, and supported at every step.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I start with a thorough evaluation to understand your history, current challenges, and goals. From there, we’ll work together to create a personalized plan, which may include medication management, therapy referrals, or lifestyle strategies to support your overall wellness. I check in regularly with patients and adjust care as needed, making sure the plan continues to meet your needs over time. My goal is to create a partnership where you feel empowered and supported as you navigate your journey toward improved mental health.

After scheduling your appointment, you will receive an email from Stella Mental Health containing your intake paperwork. Please allow about 30 minutes to complete this form. Your responses will help your provider prepare for your upcoming appointment. All patients are required to complete the intake form 24 business hours before their appointment. You will receive a phone call from one of our dedicated Care Advocates, who can answer any questions you may have. Please be prepared to provide a credit card to keep on file for co-pays or cancellation fees. Late cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full intake appointment fee ($292). During your intake appointment, you’ll spend 60 minutes with your provider collaborating on a treatment plan tailored to your needs. If in-person treatments are recommended—such as TMS, Spravato, DSR SGB, or ketamine therapy—our care team will guide you through the process and ensure you feel supported every step of the way.
