Hello and nice to meet you! I have been in healthcare as a Bachelor's degree Registered Nurse since 2010 and have worked across many different healthcare settings in New York and Texas. I am a board-certified nurse practitioner, specializing in psychiatry. I received my Master of Science in Nursing, with a focus on Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing, from Walden University in 2022. After graduating, I worked at a psychiatric emergency room (ER) in Dallas, Texas before transitioning to outpatient services.
In addition to my professional experience, I have pursued complementary and alternative therapeutic modalities for my personal health. My interests include yoga, meditation, and kick-boxing.
I provide mental health treatment services to children, adolescents, adults, and those with intellectual and developmental disabilities who want to break out of unhelpful patterns affecting their lives in order to awaken unrealized vitality, potential, and creativity. I prescribe psychiatric medications on a holistic level as needed. I am currently in pursuit of my Doctorate in Nursing, as I am committed to patient care and professional development. I have a special interest in advancing psychiatric nursing practice through education, research, and quality improvement projects.
