As a Board-certified dermatologist and a graduate of SUNY Downstate Medical School with a Doctor of Medicine degree, Dr. Rodaina Ahmed specializes in identifying and treating various skin, hair, and nail concerns. Aside from annual skin cancer screenings, conditions such as acne, rashes, dermatitis, eczema, hair loss, psoriasis, nail problems, STDs, and sun damage can all be addressed. Dr. Ahmed strives to offer dermatology on an individualized basis, recommending appropriate prescriptions and procedures based on a patient's interest in various therapies.
Dr. Ahmed prioritizes patient education, ensuring everyone understands their condition and treatment options. She provides personalized care tailored to each patient's needs using the latest technologies and evidence-based practices.
Dr. Ahmed has expertise in the use of injectables (Botox, Xeomin, Juvederm, Restylane, and others) and microneedling to banish wrinkles and help patients reflect a youthful mood without any change in facial structure. She is certified and experienced in the use of several laser devices, including those for hair removal, anti-aging, skin resurfacing, body contouring, and vein and pigmented lesion removal. Dr. Ahmed is also trained in the latest body sculpting technology, including the revolutionary EMSculpt device that builds muscle while burning fat.

I went to this clinic for a dermatology appointment regarding my hair, and unfortunately, I had a disappointing experience. I felt very rushed during the visit and did not feel like the doctor took the time to properly listen to my concerns or provide thorough advice on next steps. The appointment felt hurried, and I left feeling unsure about how to move forward with my hair care. Because of this experience, I would not recommend this doctor.

Dr. Ahmed was absolutely lovely and reassuring and met my needs completely. My only gripe is really for any healthcare establishment which is that the providers are rushed for time so your questions feel burdensome. But this is not her fault at all.

Dr. Ahmed diagnosed my condition immediately and I was able to buy a shampoo right at the office which proved highly effective. Unfortunately, I was not able to use the shampoo immediately because my building decided that this was exactly the right time to turn the water off in the building to repair the boiler. Eventually, I decided to boil water in my tea kettle and wash my hair in a bowl, medieval style and wow, immediate relief after years of suffering and paranoia. Today the building finally turned the hot water back on and a second treatment had helped me even more. Dr. Ahmed is amazing!
