Rodneysha L Brown, MD is a Family Medicine physician with extensive experience providing quality, comprehensive healthcare across the lifespan, from newborn to geriatric. Dr. Brown fosters a compassionate, trusting relationship with each of her patients and practices Medicine with a major focus on primary prevention. Dr. Brown is a native of inner-city Atlanta, GA where she graduated as Valedictorian of Frederick Douglass High School. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Howard University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. She earned her Doctor of Medicine at Morehouse School of Medicine where she graduated from the Community Health Honors Program and a National Health Service Corps Scholar. Dr. Brown completed Family Medicine residency training at Morehouse School of Medicine, earning the Community Service Award. During her training, she also served on the Board of Directors for the Georgia Healthy Family Alliance as a Resident member. Dr. Brown has a strong passion for serving the underserved and has earned numerous accolades for her commitment to improving overall healthcare outcomes in vulnerable patient populations. Throughout her career, she has remained steadfast in eliminating healthcare disparities in communities that mirror where she was raised while embodying the quote, “I am a product of my community, and my community will be my biggest production.”

Dr. Brown was very welcoming on my first visit. She was very thorough about understanding my medical history and my most current concerns. This made me feel she was more professional than prior physicians. I was especially impressed with her review and suggestions about medications I was taking as their impact on my conditions. I like her rationale for alternatives and charts for monitoring outcomes from usages over the next month. She was impressively concerned about my total well being. and her chair-side manner was appreciated. I highly recommend her as a new primary care physician.

Dr. Brown was great. I felt comfortable to talk with her, but she was also stern in letting me know what needed to be done for my health. Doctors offices can be anxiety inducing but the staff was great and we were able to laugh and joke around. I will surely be back for any other needs I have.
