We are also limited to Adult patients only (age 15 years and older). If you have had prior x-rays, MRI, or other outside studies, it is important that you bring the actual films with you to your appointment. Dr. Roger Lunke, a graduate of The University of Wisconsin School of Medicine, is Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery and is a member of the American Medical Association, Texas Medical Association, and Bexar County Medical Society. Dedicated to providing state of the art orthopedic services to San Antonio and surrounding communities, Dr. Lunke's major area of interest and expertise is general orthopedic surgery, primarily hip and knee replacements, and arthroscopic surgery.

The man is clearly an experienced professional. Today's visit was for a preliminary examination which revealed the already anticipated need for bilateral knee replacement. All necessary pre-surgical requirements were addressed, including a complete set of x-rays done conviently in-office. Staff were friendly and professional. I will expect to do a more thorough evaluation later. Less than 5 stars at this point should not be considered a negative, I have zero complaints, but relatively little to base an evaluation on

I was very impressed w/ Dr. Lunke. He knew immediately that I needed more tests done due to nerve damage that couldn't be done with "exploratory" surgery and made the appointment for me with a neurologist that accepted my insurance. In particular it was obvious that he and his staff cared more about patient care than anything else.

He was very professional, found my knee problem and very quickly resolved the problem with a surgery. I was scheduled for surgery, in and out and into recovery mode. He provided good follow up when I had some pain still with my other knee.

would have liked more explanations on options for treatment for the problem with my shoulder. Is an M R I the best or only option? Test are so expense, and the Insurance only cover so much, it would have been nice to know if I had less costly ways to go to achieve good results.
