About Dr. Rojy Philip

Dr. Rojy Philip is a board-certified physician in Family Medicine and a Diplomate of the American Board of Obesity Medicine. He has earned the prestigious designation of Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians (FAAFP), reflecting his expertise, leadership and commitment to providing exceptional patient care. Dr. Rojy Philip’s philosophy of care is to treat patients like they are members of his own family. He takes great pride in offering high-quality care based on evidence-based medicine, education, compassion, honesty, respect, and trust. Dr. Philip values long-term patient relationships and feels it is an honor to care for the whole family – from a newborn to grandparents. Dr. Philip grew up in Des Plaines, Illinois, and earned a Master’s degree in Business Administration with a focus on healthcare from Davenport University, Michigan. He began his healthcare journey as a radiology/CT/MRI technologist, where his patient interactions became a source of inspiration to pursue medicine. He completed his Family Medicine residency at Detroit Medical Center/Michigan State University, where he also served as Chief Resident. Following residency, he continued to serve the community as a faculty physician, mentoring residents and medical students. Dr. Philip remains passionate about delivering high-quality, comprehensive care along with teaching. When he is not caring for patients, Dr. Philip enjoys spending time with his wife and children, whether in Detroit or Chicago.
