Rokima Knox, PMHNP

Family Psychiatric & Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
NC
Hi! I'm a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I received my masters for Walden University. I have been in the field of nursing for over 18 years. I have experience working with people across the lifespan treating mainly anxiety, depression and ADHD. I do not manage people in acute withdrawal at this time. Safety, transparency and evidence based care are the foundation of my prescribing. Currently taking new clients ages 6-65 seeking medication management with optional supportive therapy. I believe in working together with the client to manage mental health challenges and reach realistic and rewarding goals. I utilize the lowest therapeutic dose of medications and am conservative in prescribing controlled substances and polypharmacy.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
