“Dr. Nassim is great. Excellent bedside manner. I had a series of tests done and he went through each one, even explained the difference from the previous year's test results that I had with another doctor. My only regret is that I always feel guilty and rush "myself." Left without asking some lingering questions about my hormone levels and supplements I was taking until a couple of months ago; may have to schedule a zoom consult to do that follow-up. Hope he does zoom consultations. BTW, he speaks fluent Spanish even though he's not. lol. Thank you, Dr. Nassim and Team! ”

About Dr. Roland Nassim
Roland Nassim is an experienced and patient-driven physician specializing in internal medicine and serving his patients in Great Neck and Flushing, NY. Dr. Nassim is trilingual, speaking English, Spanish, and Farsi, and he is a member of the Queens Medical Society and the Medical Society of the State of New York. He is serving as an assistant clinical professor at St. John’s University, and Dr. Nassim is affiliated with both the North Shore University Hospital and the New York Hospital of Queens.
Dr. Nassim began his medical education at the University of Central Venezuela. He then participated in a rotating internship at the Dr. Ricardo Baquero Gonzales Hospital in Caracas. Upon completing his internship, Dr. Nassim completed one year as a house staff officer at the same hospital. In 1984, Dr. Nassim relocated to New York to participate in a two-year surgical residency at the Booth Memorial Medical Center in Flushing.
In 1986, Dr. Nassim began an internal medicine internship, and in 1987, he began his internal medicine residency at the St. John’s Episcopal Hospital. From 1989 to 1993, Dr. Nassim served as a full-time attending physician in the emergency department of the Mercy Hospital at Rockville Center. After completing his attending program, Dr. Nassim began practicing internal medicine at his private practice, where he still serves his patients today.

This was my first visit with Dr. Roland Nassim. My previous doctor retired after the CoVID-19 year; can't blame him.
Dr. Nassim has a great bedside manner. He asked a lot of questions and I like that he didn't rush to prescribe meds. He was thorough and even ordered tests that I should have had 5 years ago, but haven't. I will be seeing him again when my results are ready and am looking forward to having that conversation because I need to understand what is causing my problem. Yes, I'm a control freak. His accompanying PA was lovely and the intake nurse was wonderful. She asked all the right questions and was very clear with her instructions.
The front office team was very nice. Professional, courteous, and thorough. I had left my mask in the car and didn't want to head back because I parked a few blocks away. The front desk lady offered me one. So nice. Can't ask for more.

The wait time was way too long and I got their 30 minutes early but didn't get taken till 1 1/2 hours after my appointment time so I waited 2 hours to be seen. I am a single mom that had a sitter watching my daughter so it was very stressful which is not a good thing going in for a physical. The Nurse that saw me prior to the dr that did my blood work and ekg was awesome though and if not for her I probably wouldn't go back.

I love Dr Nassim, very courteous,knowledgeable and friendly!
Only problem was that it took almost five hours to get my physical with a very poor air conditioning; 92 degrees outside, very hot inside!

I originally picked Dr. Nassim simply because I moved to this location & my 2 kid's pediatrician is in the same area so it was simply a choice of convenience. However, I've been with about 10 primary doctors in my lifetime, & will admit Dr. Nassim & his staff is the best I experienced. Super nice, super sincere & super knowledgeable. My only pet peeve is that the wait is always excruciatingly long. I've seen him about 8 times & the shortest wait was 45 minutes. The longest was 90 minutes. At my most recent visit, I finally sat up to complain after waiting an hour because I had to leave soon to pick up my kids. At that point, they were so understanding & accommodating that I actually felt guilty about snapping at them.
