Dr. Bakal is a board-certified urologist trained at Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University and Montefiore Medical Center, where he completed his residency in urology. He earned his Doctor of Medicine from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, and holds a Master's in Medical Science from Boston University. Dr. Bakal also completed his undergraduate studies at Brandeis University. Born in Israel and fluent in Hebrew, he is currently affiliated with major medical centers including Beth Israel Medical Center and Gramercy Surgery Center. An advocate of minimally invasive surgery, Dr. Bakal is a member of the American Urologic Association and the Society of Endourology.
