Getting to know Ronald Omari

As a dedicated Psychiatric and Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, I bring a compassionate, professional, and deeply caring approach to every patient interaction. My practice is rooted in the belief that mental health is shaped not only by our internal experiences but also by the environments in which we live, work, and grow. Drawing from the principles of psychoanalysis, I work to help individuals uncover the deeper layers of their emotional lives, fostering insight, healing, and long-term well-being. I hold a strong academic foundation from The College of St. Scholastica, where I developed a comprehensive understanding of psychiatric care. My clinical training spans diverse settings, including acute and inpatient psychiatry as well as outpatient environments, allowing me to approach each case with a broad and informed perspective. Above all, I measure my success by the growth and resilience of my patients. I thrive when they thrive—providing support, guidance, and clinical excellence every step of the way.

What should a new client know about working with you?

He takes time to listen and provides great care.
The first time I had an appointment I was seen right away. The second time, I received a phone call to confirm my appointment, but I was not seen for over an hour. I called the administrator and it seemed like there was confusion as to whether I had an appointment or not. I was seen at that time after an hour or so. The next time, the same thing happened and I was not seen by the provider. No explanation was given as to why he did not show up.

Ronald Omari was very polite and professional. He asked me everything in detail and listened carefully to my concerns and expectations during our consultation. I have seen different providers around the country in person and in telehealth and he is right at the top of my list. Thank you again and looking forward to our next visit!
The doctor is great listen very well compassionate understands very professional goes by protocol. He’s trustworthy and he’ll listen and help you out but he is by the book which I appreciate because he doesn’t cut corners. One thing I’m dealing with is changing my ADHD medication and I just wanna discontinue it and he wants me to turn it to the Pharmacy and I’m like I don’t do that. I’ve never done that before but I appreciated professionalism and I’m gonna keep saying him because he’s a great guy And a really good nurse practitioner/doctor.
?My overall experience with Nurse Practitioner Ronald Omari was marked by unnecessary logistical hurdles that overshadowed the actual care. ?The most frustrating recurring theme was the prescription management. Medications were routinely issued without authorized refills, creating an avoidable and chronic issue. This administrative gap meant that both my pharmacy and I were constantly forced to make follow-up calls just to secure basic medication renewal, making routine care cumbersome and frequently causing delays. ?The office environment was also hampered by frequent technological issues that made the process feel disjointed. Furthermore, in discussing my treatment, there was a perceived skepticism or hesitation regarding my input and suggestions for medication. ?While the primary care intention may have been present, the consistent administrative friction made this experience overly taxing. It unfortunately felt like a story where the patient is left to do too much of the legwork.

I had an excellent mental health follow-up visit with NP Ronald Omari. He’s a genuinely good listener—patient, attentive, and able to understand concerns without rushing the conversation. He’s also very flexible and quick to respond, which made the entire process smooth and stress-free. His office stayed on top of everything as well, following up with helpful questions and assessments to make sure nothing was missed. I would highly recommend NP Omari and his team to anyone seeking compassionate, efficient, and reliable health care.

Accuracy was almost perfect.
My experience was lovely. I was asked plenty of questions, but Ronald explained his reasoning behind the questions. He took genuine care in my treatment plan, and heard me out in ways others have not in the past. I highly recommend him, and make sure you’re nice to him, because he deserves it!

I liked him because he did aak for my past records. However he was hard to understand and I need an English speaking as first language person. I am unsure of seeing a man, but that is on me. Thanks!

Dr. Omari,in my personal experience is the best psychiatrist I've had so far. He's straight forward with a very kind and caring approach.I also had a difficult time connecting with him for our virtual appointment I thought for sure he was just going to drop me and cancel right away NO HE DID NOT!!! nearly 25 mins.after the appt.was to start he made an exception because all else failed to successfully connect us he was more than flexible with his time and went well out of his way just to help me on my first visit.Great Quality care!!!

I really like my psychiatrist — he’s kind, personable, and takes the time to ask how I’ve been doing before we get into appointments. I can tell he genuinely cares and listens when we talk. That said, there have been a few times where he’s seemed a bit busy or disorganized — like needing to call me back or asking me to hold for a while, which I don’t mind too much, but it happens fairly often. Communication over text can also be a little difficult since he sometimes reads messages and doesn’t respond right away or fully, making it harder to get clarity between visits. Overall, I do feel supported and understood during sessions, and I appreciate his effort, but I think some improvement in communication and organization would make the experience even better.

I am very grateful for my experience with Robert. He heard me out and took me seriously when I described my experiences/problems. He was open to me trying new medicines- and he thoroughly explained what to look for to understand if they are working/having side effects. I feel very secure that he is taking my treatment seriously and I feel confident that I will be able to find solutions with his help.

The thing that stood out to me the most is he really really listened to my concerns and studied my emotions and past experiences and he added them into his treatment plan for me to come up with a solution for me! Very knowledgeable on medicine side effects and history. I look forward to meeting with him again.
