Getting to know Roneke (Denise) Cole
I am a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. I obtained my Bachelor from ECPI University. I then went on to obtain my Masters of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain College of Nursing.
While serving as an Army medic in addition to working as a registered nurse in several disciplines, including ophthalmology, oncology, neurology, general surgery, HIV and infectious diseases, and women's health, I recognized the effect that mental health has on overall health. This ultimately led me to complete the post-graduate Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner program at Regis College. I provide medication management for the treatment of anxiety, depression, mood disorders, OCD, PTSD, and bipolar disorders.
I have served in the nursing profession for over 18 years and strive to provide effective yet compassionate care to my patients. I look forward to helping you work towards your goals and achieve wellness. Let's get started.
What should a new client know about working with you?
I provide compassionate and individualized approach to mental health care.
What is your typical process for working with clients?
My initial appointments are scheduled for an hour (if needed), and my follow up appointments are scheduled for half an hour (if needed). These appointment lenghts allow me to actively listen and hold space for my patients, if and when needed, without them feeling rushed or dimissed.
