RoseMarie is an experienced Nurse Practitioner with a demonstrated history of working in the hospital & health care industry. She attended Georgetown University School of Nursing and Health Studies for her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree. After graduating from Georgetown in 2016, she began her nursing career at NewYork Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center on the Bone Marrow Transplant inpatient service. During her time practicing as a bedside nurse, RoseMarie developed a passion for addressing the psycho-social needs of patients suffering with anxiety, depression, and mental illness. She pursued the Post-Baccalaureate to Doctor of Nursing Practice Program (DNP) at New York University Rory Meyers College of Nursing. She completed her clinical work rotating in the outpatient counseling center and inpatient consultation-liaison psychiatry team at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSKCC). RoseMarie is board certified as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) and has a strong passion for providing comprehensive psychiatric care for patients across the lifespan through fostering a culture of respect, trust, and curiosity.
What should a new client know about working with you?
I have a special interest in Anxiety and Mood disorders. Women's mental health matters to me a lot. To make treatment accesible & affordable I am currently in network with major commercial insurances including Aetna, Cigna, United Healthcare & Blue Cross Blue Shield.
What is your typical process for working with clients?
At Wonder Years we believe in a holistic approach. So we offer medication management and also individual and group therapies. We also offer new and innovative treatment options including Esketamine and TMS.
Once you make an appointment, one of our support staff would reach out to you promptly and would walk you through the process including answering questions about paperwork, insurances, scheduling and fees.
