Royston Lewars, PMHNP

Royston Lewars, PMHNP

Family Psychiatric & Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
MD
I specialize in the evaluation and treatment of ADHD in adults, particularly those who have gone years without clear answers or have felt misunderstood in past healthcare experiences. I also treat depression, anxiety, panic symptoms, and sleep disorders — which often overlap with attention, focus, and emotional regulation. My approach is thoughtful and structured. I take time to understand the full picture — not just symptoms, but lifestyle, stressors, sleep patterns, and personal goals — before recommending treatment. ADHD evaluations are thorough and designed to provide clarity, and when medication is part of the plan, it is used intentionally and carefully monitored. If you’ve been carrying a lot on your own and feel stuck, that’s a meaningful place to start. You don’t need to have everything figured out — just a willingness to explore what’s going on and what can help. If you’re looking for a calm, collaborative approach where you feel heard and understood, I invite you to reach out when you’re ready.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
