I am a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner with a strong foundation in both cognitive and clinical psychology. I earned my bachelor's degree from Vanderbilt University's Peabody College, followed by a master's and a doctorate in psychiatric mental health nursing from Columbia University, graduating with Sigma Theta Tau honors. My journey into mental health began with research, but I quickly realized that direct patient care was where I could make the most impact. As a psychiatric nurse practitioner, I am passionate about bridging the gap between medication management and therapy, crafting personalized care plans that address each individual's unique mental health needs. Whether working with ADHD, mood disorders, or reproductive mental health, my goal is always to provide compassionate, whole-person care.

When working with me, you can expect a collaborative and empowering environment. My approach is rooted in the belief that you know yourself best, and together, we will establish your treatment goals. I am here to provide education, offer guidance, and facilitate discussions, but ultimately, you are in control of your mental health journey. I’m your strongest advocate, providing support while helping you build the tools and strategies to achieve your goals. No two patients are the same, so I use a blend of therapeutic approaches tailored to your needs, combining medication management with therapy. My style is flexible, responsive, and patient-centered, ensuring our work reflects your unique experiences and challenges.
What is your typical process for working with clients?
Our sessions will always begin with a conversation about your goals and concerns. I’ll work with you to create a personalized plan, whether that includes medication, therapy, or a combination of both. I specialize in executive functioning skills and coaching, particularly for individuals with ADHD, and I’m deeply experienced in treating mood disorders, OCD, eating disorders, and reproductive mental health issues. I also work with diverse populations, including LGBTQ+ clients, young adults, and those with concurrent autism and ADHD (AuDHD). Our sessions will be a safe space where you can explore your strengths and challenges, and together, we’ll build coping strategies that promote mental well-being, functionality, and an improved quality of life.
