Dr. Rizvi has worked in CSB, in-patient, PHP/IOP, VA, residential, and group-practice settings and has served as a consultant for Disaster Psychiatry team. She brings 20+ years experience to her new practice, where she can do, what she loves the most: caring for her patients. Her initial evaluation is thorough & comprehensive. She customizes an individualized, tailored treatment plan based on the patient and families’ needs. She is very approachable and values patients & therapist’s inputs. She has experience in treating children, adolescent and adults alike, and takes time to get to know them. She believes in working with the family and not just the patient. She is mindful and respectful of one’s gender, sexual orientation as well as family and cultural values. She strives not only to get you better, but to bring back patients’ to their utmost functioning level. Dr. Rizvi’s treatment approach includes combining therapy and small doses of medication to achieve the best possible result for her patients. She stays up to date on the latest research in psychiatry and uses the most current research for treatment. She has extensive experience treating ADHD, Bipolar disorders, Anxiety, Depression and OCD.
