Ruth A. Sorotzkin, M.D., is a native of Southern California. She received her BA in Human Biology at Stanford University, her M.D. at the UCLA School of Medicine and did her residency in Family Medicine at Santa Monica Hospital. She is certified by the American Board of Family Practice and has been practicing medicine in Santa Monica since 1992. Dr. Sorotzkin has a strong interest in wellness and preventative health and believes that all patients need to be active participants in their overall physical, mental and emotional wellbeing. She particularly enjoys the long standing relationships she has built with many of her patients over the years. She is an active sports enthusiast and loves hiking in the Santa Monica Mountains, pilates and yoga as well as well as adventure travel with her husband and 3 adult children.
