About Ruth Thompson Murillo
I became a registered dietitian over 10 years ago because I feel strongly that, regardless of your background, genetics, or eating habits up to this point, everyone deserves to experience the benefits of a healthy lifestyle. I earned my Bachelor's in Dietetics from Missouri State University and completed my Dietetics Internship at the University of Oklahoma Health Science Center. I believe there is no such thing as the "perfect" diet, and most people are just doing the best they can with the knowledge and resources they have available. You will never feel judged in a session working with me. I come alongside you and work together with you to help you achieve your health and wellness goals. Our initial assessment is a time for us to get to know each other and for me to better understand both your background and your current goals. This gives us a firm foundation to move forward and make an educated plan that will best fit your needs.
