Dr. Ryan Ahmed, MD, MBA, completed his undergraduate education at the University of Chicago with a deep focus on the humanities before earning both his medical degree and MBA, with an emphasis on healthcare delivery, from Vanderbilt University. He completed his psychiatric residency from University of Washington medical center. He has trained across outpatient, inpatient, emergency, and interventional psychiatry settings, with additional focus in psychopharmacology, integrated care, addiction medicine, reproductive psychiatry, and therapies including CBT, CBT-I, DBT, psychodynamic therapy, IFS, and supportive therapy.
Dr. Ahmed takes an empathic, collaborative approach grounded in the belief that each patient is the expert on their own life.
