About S. Meagan Bray

Meagan is originally from Mississippi, where she earned two undergraduate degrees: a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Mississippi State University and a Bachelor of Nursing from the University of Mississippi Medical Center. She later completed her Master's in Family Nursing at the University of Texas in Houston. In 2016, she moved to Houston, TX, and worked as a nurse in hospital settings for six years, including over four years as a labor and delivery nurse at The Woman's Hospital of Texas. As a nurse practitioner, Meagan is passionate about caring for women throughout their lifespan, with a special focus on contraceptive care and education, preventive health measures, and breast health.

I was shocked by what happened during my appointment. I rarely go to the doctor’s so when I do, I have a lot of questions. She seemed very friendly at first and was answering everything. Then I asked a certain question and she gave me an answer then left the room for a few minutes. As soon as she left the room, I heard her behind the door tell her co-workers what I had asked in a very condescending kind of way and they all laughed. I’ve never experienced such an shocking behaviour from a doctor (or a nurse, in this case). Like, this isn’t High School? Or at least wait until your patient leaves before making fun of them? So much for confidentiality and professionalism. I’m supposed to feel safe coming to these visits and want to trust the person treating me. This was the opposite. I was very shocked and disapointment and will not want Meagan Bray treating me again.

This was my first time ever going to an OBGYN, I was very nervous to say the least. Both Dr. Megan and the PA/Nurse were beyond comforting and reassuring. I’m so happy I had my appointment with Meagan! I’ve been to many bad doctors and she’s one of the first I’ve been to that I am extremely satisfied with. I felt like she really listened to me, she was super nice and made me feel really comfortable, and she was very knowledgeable. The staff at the office were also very nice and my nurse was great! Zocdoc said my insurance would be accepted and it wasn’t, so check on that, but they did call me soon after I booked my appointment to let me know it wouldn’t be accepted. I’d honestly go back to her without insurance anyway - she was that good!! I also liked how I was able to fill out all of my paperwork online before so when I got there it was all taken care of. Overall it was a great experience and I’d highly recommend Meagan and her office!

NP Meagan Bray was everything that previous reviews have stated!
She is attentive, knowledgeable and most importantly an advocate for women’s health. My original OB was unavailable, but her office was able to take me the very next after scheduling my appointment.
Her nurse was also amazing and thorough during the pre-screening process. I would definitely recommend and will be going back!!!!
