“Saad Khan was a great provider. He listened to my concerns and we made a treatment plan together instead of just feeling like he was shoving medicine at me without listening. When my insurance wouldn’t cover my medication he tried to order it different ways to see if that would fix the issue and even had his office contact my insurance to make sure it was covered. He was in contact with me the entire time until the situation was rectified. That was above and beyond to me and shows that he really cares about his patients. ”

About Saad Khan

***FRONT AND BACK OF INSURANCE CARD AND IL ID UPLOADED TO ZOCDOC IS REQUIRED BEFORE MAKING AN APPOINTMENT.*** I am a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) who graduated in 2015 from Chamberlain College of Nursing located in Addison, IL. I prescribe medications for common mental health conditions such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, OCD, PTSD. I also prescribe Suboxone for opioid use disorder and naltrexone for alcohol use disorder. Urine drug testing at Quest labs is required for it. Additionally, I prescribe Spravato/Esketamine in Schaumburg. Finally, I also prescribe Truvada / PREP for HIV prevention during sexual encounters. To check for underlying conditions, I test for vitamin B12, vitamin D, folic acid, iron deficiency, anemia of unknown origin, thyroid issues, and testosterone in men. If you don't start to feel better soon, I dig deeper to search for medical conditions that can mimic mental health disorders. These can include inflammatory conditions, heart conditions, Lyme disease.
