I am a dual board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Family Nurse Practitioner with a nursing career since 1999. I earned my Master's in Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing from Frontier Nursing University. Over the past five years, I have specialized in psychiatric nursing, focusing on treating a spectrum of conditions including mood disorders, depression, anxiety, schizophrenia, and bipolar disorder. I have cared for individuals ranging from age 17 to older adulthood. I am dedicated to delivering quality, compassionate, and comprehensive psychiatric and mental health care by creating individualized care plans that prioritize each client's needs and foster an environment free of stigma.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I work with clients who may be struggling with Depression, Anxiety, PTSD, Bipolar, Schizophrenia, and Dementia. During our initial sessions, we will delve deeply into the issues at hand and collaborate to create a plan for addressing them in a way that helps you get your life back and all in a safe, nonjudgmental, and stigma-free environment.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I often use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in my practice. In your first session, we'll explore what brought you to therapy and decide the most appropriate ways to help you progress. With CBT, we'll look at how your thoughts affect your emotions and experience. During treatment, I'll help you learn how to push back against those thoughts to change your feelings for the better.
