Dr. Thomas-Mohamed is a native of Pittsburgh, PA, the oldest daughter of working class parents. She completed medical school at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and Family Medicine residency at Advocate Christ Medical Center in Chicago, IL. She has been board certified in Family Medicine since 2007. Dr. Thomas-Mohamed has experience in a variety of practice settings, including primary care, geriatrics, and urgent care. She believes in providing compassionate, thorough care for every patient and has an interest in primary care for women.
Dr. Thomas-Mohamed relocated to Montgomery County in 2011 and lives in the area with her husband and daughter. She enjoys hiking, yoga, and culinary arts.

I’d say it was honestly one of the most memorable experiences I’ve had in a while from a doctor’s appointment from start to finish, everything just felt well thought-out and care for. Whether it was the atmosphere, the medical assistants or overall vibe, it completely exceeded my expectations.

What stood out the most was the attention to detail and the way everything was organized. It felt personal, not just like a routine check up.
The energy was great, and you could tell everyone involved really cared.
Q3: Would you go back?
Absolutely! No question about it. I’d go back in a heartbeat—and I’d

I was looking for a new primary care provider and Dr. Thomas-Mohamed's profile caught my attention. Dr. Thomas-Mohamed made me feel good from the moment she walked into the examination room. She thanked me for coming to see her, listened to my concerns and comments, and gave advice. Dr. Thomas-Mohamed is down-to-earth and relatable. Although her office is a 50-minute drive from my home, my visit with Dr. Thomas-Mohamed was well worth the commute. I highly recommend Dr. Thomas-Mohamed as a primary care provider.

Dr. Thomas-Mohamed was a great doctor—she was kind, friendly, thorough, and really took her time to speak with me and get to know me. The only hiccup was that their electronic medical system was down (it sounded like this was the first time this had ever happened), but she handled it in stride. All of my notes and lab work made it successfully into my patient portal, so there weren't any issues with my care, even with this tech issue. I'm excited to have Dr. Thomas-Mohamed as my new primary care doctor!
