What should a new client know about working with you?

My approach is collaborative, and individualized. Rather than focusing solely on diagnoses, I work to understand how symptoms impact daily life and overall well-being. Treatment plans are developed together, with careful attention to safety, education, and long-term success. I was drawn to mental health care through a deep appreciation for the role compassionate support can play in someone’s healing journey. I value building strong therapeutic relationships and empowering clients to take an active role in their care.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Your first appointment is a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation conducted via secure telehealth. Prior to the session, please complete all intake paperwork and consent forms to allow us to make the most of your time together. During the first visit, we’ll discuss your symptoms, mental health and medical history, past treatments, and goals for care. If appropriate, medication options will be reviewed and an individualized treatment plan will be developed. There is no pressure to share everything at once—this visit is about creating a safe, collaborative starting point. Follow-up visits focus on medication management, symptom monitoring, and treatment adjustments as needed. Appointment frequency is based on your individual needs and may change over time as symptoms stabilize and goals are met.
