What should a new client know about working with you?

When you begin working with me, you can expect a compassionate and supportive environment where your unique experiences and challenges are respected. My goal is to create a safe, non-judgmental space where you feel comfortable expressing yourself fully. I approach each client with empathy, actively listening to your concerns and working collaboratively to address your mental health goals. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, or other mental health challenges, I tailor my approach to meet your individual needs. I also take great care in understanding your cultural background and how that shapes your mental health journey. Together, we will create a personalized treatment plan that not only addresses your mental health concerns but also empowers you to take an active role in your healing process.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Our sessions will begin with an in-depth conversation to understand your history, symptoms, and goals for treatment. I take a whole-person approach to care, considering how lifestyle factors such as diet, sleep, and exercise may be impacting your mental health. Based on this understanding, we will explore a combination of treatments, which may include psychotherapy, medication management, and lifestyle modifications. Throughout our work together, I will regularly check in with you to ensure the treatment plan remains aligned with your needs. I strongly believe in open communication and will encourage you to share your feedback so we can continuously adjust the plan as needed. Ultimately, my goal is to help you heal and feel empowered on your journey to better mental health.
