“I would suggest getting an initial psychiatric evaluation with Dr. Selek for anyone who wants a clear understanding of their mental health before beginning treatment. It's possible for clients to attend multiple therapy sessions, only to later discover that their mental health symptoms were actually caused by a hormonal imbalance, such as hypothyroidism.”
