About Dr. Sam Fam

I see my role as a consultant, primary advisor, networker, and investor in my patients' journey to achieve their health goals. I enjoy really getting to know patients, listening well, and helping them navigate the health system to their unique life experience. I'm particularly interested in preventive medicine, exercise and osteopathic medicine, pediatrics, and helping people manage chronic diseases, especially obesity, type 2 diabetes, and cardiovascular disease. To keep healthy, I cook and stay physically active. Outside of work, I love reading, architecture and design, being outdoors, and travel. I graduated from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine at Seton Hill before completing my family medicine residency at Duke University.
