About Dr. Samantha Busgith
Samantha Busgith is a licensed and board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner at NSS Dermatology PLLC
Samantha earned her Doctorate of Nursing Practice at Columbia University. She also completed her Master of Science in Nursing and Family Nurse Practitioner post-Master's degree at Columbia University.
Samantha practices both aesthetic and medical dermatology at NSS Dermatology. She treats all types of adult skin conditions, including chronic ones such as hidradenitis suppurativa in which she cares for dozens patients at NSS Dermatology using the most advanced medical findings. She has a subspecialty in pediatric and teen dermatology.
Prior to completing her Family Nurse Practitioner degree, Samantha worked at NSS Dermatology, formerly known as Noah Scheinfeld, MD PLLC for 12 years where she developed her expertise in medical dermatology. She worked under the guidance of Dr. Noah Scheinfeld providing care to a wide demographic of patients with special focus on complex dermatological conditions.
Samantha is known for her compassionate nature even when dealing with the most challenging cases. Her specialties include treatment of patients with psoriasis, vitiligo, warts, molluscum contagiosum, skin cancer, acne, hair loss, eczema and atopic dermatitis. She is an expert in phototherapy for psoriasis, eczema and vitiligo.
Samantha conducted clinical trials focused on patients with Contact Dermatitis, Eczema, Psoriasis, Hidradenitis Suppurativa and Vitiligo.
Samantha Busgith worked with Dr. Scheinfeld on the dermatology textbook he wrote with Dr. Steven Cohen of Weill-Cornell and Dr. Donald Rudikoff of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, "Atopic Dermatitis and Eczematous Disorders," now an essential reference guide to dermatologists around the world.
Samantha received her Bachelor's Degree from Stony Brook University and completed a post bachelor's degree in healthcare administration from Duquesne University. Samantha's family hails from Suriname and Guyana.

Samantha Busgith kindly listened to my concerns and gave me advice on how to address them. She was very knowledgeable on the subject matter - cremes, supplements, and procedures to clear away problems I have.
This is the second time I've gone to her for mole removal. She verbalises the steps before proceeding, to make sure I am ready for any discomfort from the needles and local anesthesia. She also gave me samples to use to help the site heal well.
I look forward to seeing her again when I need a skin issue cleared up!
