About Samantha Consoli
Samantha Consoli is a board-certified physician assistant specializing in dermatology. She earned her undergraduate degree from Salisbury University and went on to complete her graduate degree and PA certification at the University of Maryland, Baltimore, graduating summa cum laude.
Before transitioning into dermatology, Sam worked in urgent care, where she gained extensive experience in diagnosing and treating a wide range of medical conditions. She has a strong interest in managing dermatologic conditions such as acne and eczema and enjoys assisting with procedures and treatments.
With a warm and friendly approach, Sam is dedicated to making patients feel heard, valued, and well-cared for. She finds great joy in helping patients achieve their skin health goals while building lasting relationships along the way.
Outside of work, Sam is a new mom who enjoys spending time with her son, her husband, and their dog. Having grown up in this area, she has strong ties to the community and loves exploring all that it has to offer — whether it’s spending time outdoors boating or hiking, or discovering new restaurants and sharing meals with family and friends. In quieter moments, Sam finds joy in reading and writing poetry.

This visit exceeded my expectations. The provider showed genuine compassion and took the time to really listen, making me feel understood and respected.
She offered thoughtful options and never made me feel embarrassed or judged. The assistant was also extremely kind and supportive, which made the whole experience even better. I left feeling reassured and grateful.

I could not have been more pleased with the experience. First, the staff at the reception desk were both pleasant, friendly, and helpful. Moreover, I am not sure I have ever interacted with a medical assistant who maintained such a positive, friendly, AND professional demeanor - prior to, during, and following the exam. Likewise, my provider was equally and incredibly friendly yet professional throughout the exam and necessary procedures. Wait- I actually AM sure that in my 74 years-despite having had rewarding relationships with a few unique and special providers, that from start to finish, this was indeed the most positive medical appointment I can recall. The one, and only downside to future visits is knowing the medical assistant will be leaving to enter medical school later this year. Nevertheless, I am looking forward to ongoing positive experiences when returning for care provided by Samantha Consoli. Today’s visit truly was a very pleasant surprise!

PA-C Consoli was EXCELLENT (as well as the front desk attendant and assistant)! They were all personable and accommodating. PA-C Consoli was prompt, efficient, and highly competent. This was my first visit with Modern Dermatology of Maryland, and I intend to keep them as my preferred Dermatologist practice.
