Samantha Day is a Board-Certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in Georgia who started practicing in 2014. I was never greeted with a "Hello" or "How are you," just verified. It never came after the verification either. Her demeanor came off very transactional and lacked empathy or softness for the unexpected personal questions she was asking for a first-time session (IE specific sexual trauma history, etc) It was a "rip the bandage off" approach. I was advised that a diagnosis can not happen in 1 session, which I understood. However, I was diagnosed with 4, 3 of which were never told to me. I found out in my online chart. I had a bad interaction with the prescribed meds, and she was very snarky in the "assistance" provided, throwing medical terms at me versus explaining in lamens terms for clarity. I canceled my follow-up appointment that same day. Never again, and I do not recommend.

I had a great experience! Dr. Day answered all of my question and concerns that I had. The office reminded multiple times that I had a upcoming appointment when a lot of offices don't really do that. Everyone was super helpful and considerate. I highly recommend.

I had a great experience and am anxious for our upcoming appointment. She took the time to talk and get to know me as a person. I didn’t feel rushed in telling my needs as a patient. She understood my needs as a busy mom of 3 small kids. Very patient and kind!

inre my first visit, very impressed: Samantha Day is a genuinely wonderful therapist. It radiates in her person the way she questions, listens, and provides feedback. She was prepared for our appointment and spoke "with" me rather than "to" me as we talked through my situation, beneficial therapeutic possibilities, as well as medication and how it might work for me. Being a relative newcomer to the state and having to find a new therapist can seem daunting but I believe I stumbled upon the right person, and I am looking forward to further sessions with Samantha Day.
