About Dr. Samantha Mesko
Dr. Samantha Mesko is a board-certified dermatologist who specializes in pediatric, adult, and cosmetic dermatology. She is committed to providing comprehensive, evidence-based care while helping patients achieve healthy, confident skin through a personalized and integrative approach.
Dr. Mesko obtained her Bachelor of Science in Neurobiology from the University of California, Irvine, where she went on to complete both her Doctor of Medicine and Master of Business Administration, with a concentration in Healthcare Management and Policy. She graduated from medical school with Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) honors in recognition of her commitment to academic excellence, leadership, and service. She then completed her internship at Scripps Mercy Hospital before pursuing her dermatology residency at UC Davis, where she was selected by her peers and faculty to serve as Chief Resident.
Dr. Mesko has authored nearly two dozen peer-reviewed publications in leading dermatology journals, including the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology (JAAD), JAMA Dermatology, and Dermatologic Surgery. Her clinical interests include pediatric dermatology; the treatment of chronic inflammatory skin conditions, such as atopic dermatitis and psoriasis; and cosmetic dermatology, with a focus on laser therapies and injectable treatments, including Botox and dermal fillers.
She believes that healthy skin begins from within and incorporates principles of integrative medicine alongside the latest scientific advances to develop individualized treatment plans for her patients.
Outside of the office, Dr. Mesko enjoys maintaining an active lifestyle as a gym enthusiast, as well as playing tennis, skiing, running, and hiking outdoors. She also loves cooking and baking, traveling, and exploring new restaurants with her husband. Passionate about nutrition and overall wellness, she embraces a holistic philosophy that reflects both her personal values and her approach to patient care.
