“Sam is immaculate. I honestly don’t think I could’ve chosen better. I had a really good session with Sam. She listened to me, didn’t rush, and made me feel comfortable opening up. She explained everything in a way that was easy to understand, made great suggestions and helped me feel more clear about what I need to do next. Sam is kind, patient, and wants to understand you. Getting to know Samantha O’Donnell

Have you visited multiple doctors and tried various medications, yet found no relief from your symptoms? Do you feel frustrated and unheard in your search for answers? If so, know that you're not alone in this struggle. However, it doesn't have to be this way indefinitely. Frequently, symptoms like sleep difficulties, weight gain, fatigue, brain fog, concentration issues, and burnout go untreated, but it's time to change that. My objective is to collaborate with you, delving into the underlying causes of your symptoms, and tailor solutions that are effective for your unique body and lifestyle. I earned my BSN in nursing from Holy Family University and later completed my MSN in nursing at Wilkes University. I am certified as a psychiatric and mental health nurse practitioner with over 8 years of dedicated experience in various mental health settings. My career has spanned psychiatric emergency rooms, inpatient and outpatient facilities, drug and alcohol rehabilitation centers, as well as correctional settings. In addition to my formal education, I pursued further training and certification as a brain health coach and functional nutrition counselor. I am passionate about treating individuals across the lifespan, from age 9 and up, and am committed to providing comprehensive care that integrates mental health, brain health, and nutritional wellness strategies.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I strongly advocate for adopting a root-cause approach when working with my clients. Instead of fixating solely on the diagnosis, I am committed to exploring the fundamental causes behind your symptoms. Our collaborative effort will involve a comprehensive examination of your brain health, hormones, nutrition, and lifestyle to address the underlying causes .

What is your typical process for working with clients?

In your initial evaluation, I will complete a full evaluation that addresses the biological, psychological, social, and spiritual factors that may be contributing to your symptoms. Together, we will come up with a treatment plan that may include medications, therapy initiation, and lifestyle changes to not just reduce symptoms, but to improve mental well being.

Sam is perfectly nice, but she made me feel really awkward. I also feel like she didn't really know what to ask me. The thing that I took the greatest issue with is she didn't read the ridiculously long pre-appointment questionnaire she had me fill out. Yes, I filled it out around 8:00 pm the night before my appointment. But my appt. was in the afternoon, she could've taken 5 minutes to glance at it. She's likeable enough but I just didn't vibe with her.

Samantha was easy to talk to and willing to listen. Offered a space of comfortability when being vulnerable and working with me towards a treatment plan catered to my needs and mental health journey.
Samantha is incredible! I can’t say enough about my experience with her. She is so kind and has a way with making you feel comfortable especially in a space where you may fear being judged. She is very patient and makes sure that she understands your needs in order to best support you. She is well informed and very thorough when prescribing medications that would be most beneficial for your needs. She is straight up and far from gimmicky which is what I think I appreciate the most given my past experiences with other doctors. You’re in excellent hands when it comes to Samantha. Samantha thank you so much for all your support and professionalism in my journey to wellness!
