About Dr. Samantha Sabban
Samantha Sabban, DO, is a board-certified physiatrist specializing in interventional pain medicine who offers a wide breadth of conservative and interventional solutions for treating pain to improve a patient’s functionality and quality of life. She is adept at diagnosing and treating conditions like cervical and lumbar radiculopathy, facet-mediated pain, sacroiliac joint dysfunction, shoulder pain, hip pain, knee pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, tendinopathies and myofascial pain.
She was born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida and went on to complete her Bachelor’s degrees in Chemistry and Mathematics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Afterwards she obtained a Master’s degree in medical sciences from the University of South Florida. She earned her medical degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Bradenton, Florida where she developed a passion for musculoskeletal medicine. The osteopathic philosophy of providing rational treatment based on the basic principles of body/mind/spirit unity, self-regulation, and interrelationship of structure and function provided the foundation for Dr. Sabban to pursue her residency training in physical medicine and rehabilitation at New York Medical College where she also served as Chief Resident during her final year. She completed a one-year accredited fellowship in interventional pain medicine at the University of Massachusetts.
Dr. Sabban is an active member of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, the North American Neuromodulation Society, and the International Pain and Spine Intervention Society. Her treatment plans focus on holistic pain management with an emphasis on maximizing functional independence and improving quality of life.

Dr. Sabban was so great. She was so thorough & took the time to listen & explain every question I had. We even made a whole care plan to follow while trying out new things to improve my pain. Telling all my friends & family about her!
