About Dr. Sameera Tallapureddy

Dr. Tallapureddy completed her medical education in 2002 at Gandhi Medical College and Hospital, Secunderabad, earning her Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery degree. After medical school, she pursued post-graduate studies in Dermatology before relocating to the USA. She moved to Connecticut in 2007 and completed her internship and residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Connecticut. She continued her training at the University of Connecticut, where she obtained Fellowship training in Endocrinology, Metabolism, and Diabetes in 2013. Following that, she worked as a Staff Endocrinologist at Hartford Hospital and was in private practice with the Starling Physician Group in Connecticut between 2013 and 2018. Dr. Tallapureddy is a member of the American Diabetes Association, the Endocrine Society, and the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists (AACE). She is board certified in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism. She cherishes the patient-doctor relationship and its role in helping to improve care of chronic diseases like Diabetes Mellitus. Her other areas of interest include thyroid disorders, osteoporosis, obesity, and wellness.

Dr. Tallapureddy listened and assessed my symptoms. She was polite & seems very knowledgeable. I will follow her recommendations and see how I feel. After my follow up visit, I will be able to assess a recommendation or not. Office was clean and staff friendly, but so small that you can hear every interaction with patients which is distracting and annoying.
