She furthered her training in endocrinology, with a fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, Pittsburgh, PA. She is board certified in internal medicine, bariatrics (obesity) medicine, metabolism, and endocrinology. She is a member of the American College of Physicians, the Endocrine Society, and the Obesity Medicine Association.
