Dr. Samir “Sammy” Parikh is a board-certified neurosurgeon known for his compassionate approach and commitment to helping patients reclaim their quality of life. As the founder of The Neuro & Spine Wellness Center in Frisco, TX and has been proudly serving the North Texas community since 2012.
Specializing in minimally invasive spine surgery, complex spinal procedures, and cranial neurosurgery, Dr. Parikh is deeply focused on delivering personalized, advanced care for patients facing neurological and spine-related conditions. He is known for taking the time to truly listen, ensuring each patient feels seen, heard, and understood.
Dr. Parikh earned his medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine and completed his neurosurgical residency at the renowned Mayfield Clinic and University of Cincinnati Neuroscience Institute, where he served as Chief Resident. There, he received advanced training in both cranial and minimally invasive spinal techniques. He graduated summa cum laude from the University of Texas at Dallas with a degree in Chemistry.
With hospital affiliations across North Texas and national experience through locum tenens work, Dr. Parikh brings a wide range of expertise to every patient encounter. His clinical background includes published research on trauma, Alzheimer’s disease, and cerebrovascular injury.

Booked an appointment. Showed up. This doc doesn’t work at the office any more, googled and tried to leave VM @ other office. Never retuned my call.

I showed up to my apportionment and there was no staff or doctor present. I found out from a different Dr in the office that Dr Samir was called into surgery and knew about it yesterday. No one called to inform me and I’ve still yet to hear from anyone there.
