About Dr. Samira Shokati
We provide primary care and dermatology care.
I cannot define what a good provider is, nor can I claim myself to be one. But I strive every single day to become a great one, and I hope when you visit you can see that too.
I am a board-certified family nurse practitioner and am passionate about caring for patients of all ages and diverse backgrounds. I believe in building and nurturing long-term relationships with families and advocating for each individual to achieve their optimal state of health. I focus on preventative care and providing proper education to my patients to help them make informed decisions about their health and medication management.
I received my undergraduate degree from the University of Washington and later my training as a Doctor of Nursing Practice, Family Nurse Practitioner from Seattle University.
My training included primary care and dermatology. I manage chronic conditions including diabetes, hypertension, ADHD, etc. I also provide weight management with diet and medication, women’s health, family planning, etc. I am a firm believer in the importance of hormonal balance in men and women and I provide bioidentical hormone replacement therapy.
I provide dermatology consultation, disease management, and procedures on a primary care level and within my scope of practice.
I am board-certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and am on the board of ARNPs United of Washington.
When away from my clinic, I enjoy baking, painting, gardening, and spending time with my family and my two dogs, May and June.

It was not communicated to me that they would not be able to fulfill half of the reason why I made an appointment. The doctor and front desk person were not friendly and claimed to have communicated the services to me - checked my texts and emails from them and nothing had disclosed that. They didn’t even apologize for wasting my time. Wouldn’t recommend.

Testosterone replacement went smoothly. The procedure was less than 10 minutes, painless and I feel great. I am sleeping better and libido has definitely increased. The pellet therapy is very convenient and the office staff are nice and knowledgeable. I am at 6 weeks mark. great pricing.

I am writing a review a bit late in the process because I wanted to share my honest and educated opinion. Samira is detail oriented, I have lost about 19lbs through the last 3 months which I am sure will not gain back. Her monthly appointments are comprehensive and she gives great tips on diet, exercise and supplements to help you loose the fat in the healthiest way possible. pricing of Semaglutide is the lowest and its the best quality. I never had any side effects with the injections they provide.

I had the best conversation with Samira regarding my weight management. She is very knowledgeable and provided me with he best options. I never felt judged or pushed and I have already lost more body fat percentage than I anticipated I would in 2 months. Her program is focused on fat loss not weight loss which is the healthiest way and I am so happy that I found her. If you are looking to loose weight the right way, she is your girl.

Very friendly and reassuring. Received a larger bill than expected, but am working on that with insurance. Office was very clean and nice. Much more geared toward dermatology with advertisements for expensive skin treatments in all rooms which was a bit off putting but otherwise great

This experience was truly awful. I went in for a dermatology all-over mole check, but somehow the main point of the conversation led to us talking about my weight with semaglutide being the "solution" to my problem.
Additionally, Samira Shokati pushed semaglutide on me as the only solution without considering other treatment options or discussing potential side effects in detail. Their approach felt more like a sales pitch than genuine medical advice. Which again was completely irrelevant to the original concern I sought advice for.
I expect a healthcare professional to be compassionate, understanding, and respectful. Unfortunately, Samira Shokati fell short on all counts. I would not recommend them to anyone seeking considerate and comprehensive medical care.
