About Dr. Samuel Brown

Dr. Brown is a native of Northeastern Pennsylvania. He completed his undergraduate studies at the Pennsylvania State University, before earning his medical degree at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey - School of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Brown Moved to Long Island in 2010 to complete his residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Stony Brook. Following residency, he was accepted into one of the top pain management fellowship programs in the country at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. He returned to Long Island where he helped found the Pain Institute of Long Long Island before forming his own practice on the East End. He and his wife and 3 children are residents of Port Jefferson where he proudly serves his community as a volunteer firefighter for over 10 years. He is a professor at 3 medical schools where he teaches medical students, residents and fellows. Dr. Brown is a respected leader in pain management, lecturing and teaching physicians across the country how to safely perform new surgical procedures.
