Getting to know Sana Chunara

As soon as you book your appointment - WE WILL CALL you to confirm and REQUIRE A CREDIT CARD ON FILE THAT will be CHARGED FOR THE VISIT UPFRONT. Can ONLY SEE CLIENTS IN DC, MD and VA. As a dual certified Family Nurse practitioner (FNP) and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP), I like to blend heart and smarts to deliver hollistic, top tier and friendly care for mind and the body. I work with individuals who are feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected—often battling anxiety, depression, trauma, or mood instability. My ideal clients are those who have tried therapy, medication, or other routes but still feel like something’s missing. They’re searching for real, lasting relief and a provider who listens deeply, understands their unique story, and offers compassionate, evidence-based care that goes beyond a prescription pad. What sets me apart is my holistic, client-centered approach.I don’t just treat symptoms—I look at the whole person: mind & body. Clients can expect to leave sessions feeling heard, supported, and more in control of their mental health. I aim to create a warm, non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts and emotions safely. Together, we’ll set realistic goals focused on symptom relief, improved coping skills, and greater self-awareness. Taking the first step toward mental health support can feel overwhelming—and incredibly brave. If you're navigating challenges with anxiety, depression, mood changes, or just feeling "off," please know you're not alone. As a PMHNP, my approach is grounded in compassion, active listening, and a deep respect for your unique needs.
