About Sandra French

Sandra French, DNP, APRN, FNP-BC began her nursing career in 1997 in dermatology. After several years as a registered nurse in this field, she wanted to do more for her patients and decided to pursue advanced practice nursing. She graduated with honors in 2007 from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga (UTC) and earned board certification through the American Nurses Credentialing Center as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Sandra further advanced her education by returning to UTC, where she obtained her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree in December 2019. She is an active member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Her clinical experience as a nurse practitioner spans family practice, peripheral vein disease, and dermatology. Sandra specializes in treating acute and chronic medical skin conditions and is dedicated to providing evidence-based, personalized skin care to all her patients. Sandra has two grown sons, one grandson, and two dogs. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, scuba diving, kayaking, mountain biking, hiking, and spending time outdoors.
