You're not a nail, and we're not a hammer. Psychiatry in Motion is a board-certified psychiatry practice at 134 Broadway, Floor 4, Brooklyn, NY 11249, led by Dr. Ahmed Al-Katib, MD. We look for the root cause, not a quick label. The basics come first: movement, food, sleep, and the emotional skills nobody taught you. We see adults for ADHD, autism, OCD, anxiety, depression and burnout. If leave is part of your treatment, we do the paperwork: FMLA, Paid Family Leave, short-term disability. If the gym or massage is part of your recovery, we write a Letter of Medical Necessity when it is clinically justified, so your HSA or FSA can pay. We actually believe in this stuff. In person in Williamsburg, or by video in NY, FL and NJ. In-network in NY with Aetna, UnitedHealthcare, Optum, Oxford, Oscar, UMR and NY Select. Clear self-pay rates for everyone else. Mon–Thu 9 AM–5 PM, Fri 11 AM–3 PM ET.
