Sandra has experience in treating psychiatric patients in variety of settings including maximum security forensics, inpatient, outpatient, and detox facilities per face-to-face and telehealth. Sandra started her career working as a psychiatric registered nurse (2006) in acute crisis stabilization units and 24-hour observation units. Through Sandra's years of experience as a psychiatric registered and her passion and dedication in mental health, she decided to return to college in her quest to become a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (2013). Within the next three years, she obtained a Doctor in Nursing Practice degree (2016) with continued focus in mental health. What is your typical process for working with clients?

After you request your appointment, you will be sent an invite link for Brightside Health. You will need to enter your insurance and payment information to confirm your appointment.During your initial consultation we will craft a treatment plan personalized to your needs, and schedule follow-up appointments as needed. You will also be able message me directly at anytime via the messaging section of your Brightside Health portal - a tool where will also track your progress, access resources, and see your treatment plan details.*Please note: If you are looking for ADHD care, I do not prescribe controlled medications like Adderall or Ritalin. However, we can support you with therapy and other medications commonly used in ADHD treatment, such as Strattera and Intuniv.*
