More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.

Uses AI for visits. Didn't discuss treatment plan prior to making dose change, found out at pharmacy it was reduced by more than half. This provider does both MH and Medical visits. I was advised by another patient (my sister)that these visits are kept seperate because they need to be billed separately. There was no option when scheduling to select which the appointment was for. At the very beginning of the appointment I made it clear I did not want Mental health care at this time and was to be seen for medical reasons. The provider kept steering the visit towards MH, asked if I needed a refill on my MH medications, and then billed it as a psychiatric evaluation scheduling the next visit as a psychiatric follow-up. I also felt I was being compared to my sisters chart. The video call was paused and I was advised she reviewed my chart(It was my first visit.) It also bothered me she didn't ask follow up questions to be sure we understood each other and that our communication was clear.
