Sara is dedicated to equipping her clients with valuable tools and strategies to enhance their lives continuously. What is your typical process for working with clients?

My approach to therapy is collaborative, supportive, and tailored to each client’s unique needs. In our first session, I focus on creating a safe and welcoming space where clients feel comfortable sharing their concerns, experiences, and goals for therapy. I also gather background information to better understand their history, current challenges, and strengths. From there, we work together to identify clear goals and develop a treatment plan that supports meaningful change. During sessions, I use evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Trauma-Informed CBT, and family systems techniques when appropriate. Our conversations may focus on understanding patterns, building coping skills, improving communication, processing emotions, and developing practical strategies to manage life’s challenges. Each session typically involves open discussion, reflection, and skill-building exercises that clients can apply in their daily lives. I believe therapy works best when it is a partnership, so I encourage feedback and active participation throughout the process. My goal is to help clients feel heard, gain insight, strengthen resilience, and develop tools that support healthier relationships and overall well-being.
