Hi my name is Sara and I am so excited to meet you. I am a Marriage and Family therapist (MFT-LP ), and my passion is to provide others through empathy and support. As a MFT, I am trained in psychotherapy and family systems. By using a person-centered, strength based approach I use theory to help clients make sense of their experience and explore how interactions shape who we are. Since every clt has their own experiences and difficulties, I believe it is critical to get to know who you are and what’s important to you. I firmly believe that we can all have different realities of the same experience, and it is through language that we can interpret these interactions. I have my Masters Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT) from Touro University Worldwide. I have the pleasure of working with all types of populations, including children, adolescents, adults, families and couples. I am trained in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), narrative therapy, relational therapy and use a trauma informed lens. I specialize in depression, anxiety, trauma, family conflict, relationship issues, complex PTSD, and domestic violence.
